Would love to know how much you would want for just the frame.
-
• #3
What are the meaasurements please?
-
• #4
Would you consider selling the rear wheel on its own, and if so how much would you want for it? I wouldn't need the cassette as I'd just want to run it fixed...
-
• #5
HI Ed, yes i would sell the rear on its own around £160 would be ok for me i guess.
@ soul, make me an offer i can't refuse (how do u want the frame? just frame and forks or with bottom braket, headset, seatpost)
@seth the frame is a 21 inch, but since it is a micro tt it is all a little different. 21 inch to end of top tube, seat tube c-c is around 47cm, top tube is 53, there is some interesting detail, for example the two lugs on the front are that close together that they did cut and weld (or solder) them together, tubing is 531c, i'll include more pics if there is genuine interest. ah seat angle 78 degrees. forgot to mention, the paint is almost immaculate, the previous owner did touch it up around the seatclamp, i do have a tub of paint, also have paint for the disc wheel.

Interested in your bike, perfect size for me. Give me a ballpark figure for your bike less wheelset, saddle and bars.

OK, i got loads of requests, so here are more pics. Also can we do this on a first come first serve basis from now on, it is getting a bit confusing, I have interest in the whole bike and a lot of different combinations of bits.
Could the people that have requested figures on how much for this or that please get back to me with a yes no or an offer.
and here are more pics, the bike is located on kingsland road between shoreditch and dalston.
cheers
the black spot on the crank is dirt, i have rubbed it of now.

OK so the guy who "did not have to think and wanted the bike 100%" (and made me loose a thursday evening doing changes to the bike), has not been in touch, so it is up for sale again.
please please please make up your mind (and money) before your eyes get bigger than your belly. I hope this is not the usual habit here...in any case: Offers of any sort welcome!
cheers

@ Rocker,
I have no idea. I paid £400 and i think it's worth that money. Anyway I'll take a £50 loss need space, just bought another bike....

off to the BC web site with you, if nec via a BC member.
My personal view is the bike is a bit dated, and the 105 kit lets it down for true poseurs, its fine as a starter TT bike, and with that kit too, and @ that price. The disc alone is still worth £150+. Sub 24 mins for a 10 is perfectly achievable on such a machine.
BTW I think the rear brake blocks need to be cork, normal ones will cut through the disc
-
• #23
yeah. not an alloy braking surface on that wheel. send it to me. I promise it a good home, and it would be perfect on my bike...
-
• #24
Thanks for the tip with the kork block guys. The brake surface is not damaged as it was not used. the former owner (in this late 70's) had it blocked and a red sticker on the bars. ac
@ devil do you mean the tt forum? If me listing it there as well is against the rules i'll tkae it off no worries
cheers
chris
sorry, forgot to say

cheers
