Replacement Straps & Buckles for Northwave Shoes

Anyone know a good source of them? I've emailed Northwave and am awaiting a reply, but thought I would ask here - as Google didnt turn up anything useful.

I love my Northwave Lizzard SBS Carbon shoes but the teeth on the top strap are degrading so its getting really hard to tighten the straps with the ratchet buckle, and sometimes impossible to get the bloody shoes off - have already had to ask other people to help get my shoes off, which is somewhat embarrassing!

Both are very obviously replacable, but I can only find Sidi parts :-(

Have you tried calling Action Bikes or any of the other Northwave stockists? Normally you have to order parts through them. I've had to do this in the past with odd things like replacement Giro helmet inserts - you can only get them through their retailers.

EDIT: Action Bikes are a no-go - they say they are 'hard' to get hold of.

Have just mailed Evans as well. Will hopefully get some feedback from Northwave themselves, I really dont want to have to buy new shoes just for the sake of new straps!

Ok suprisingly, just had some rather helpful feedback from Evans, they told me to ring their special order number 0870 164 4036 and a lovely chap called Ben on the other end, reckons he can order them and spare buckles for me and is gonna ring me back.

EDIT: They just called me back - £12.99 for a set of buckles and straps - 5 quid postage (shocking) but jobs a good 'un

Quick update on this - Evans fucked up and sent me the wrong buckles. However in the meantime the lovely Jan from bobshop.de is sending me some free and I'm just paying €6.50 postage. I'm getting a refund from Evans.
Should have trusted the Germans in the first place!
