Do you have an Albion burner? They are in stock atm and while not as thick I think they're more useful
I’m hoping so. I have literally worn through my LS jersey and insulated gilet and need to replace them soon.
Any chance the repair service would add pockets to my existing core bib shorts?
Depends. How soon is soon?
Not Morrissey soon.
@youramericanlover I have to say the (albion/rae)burner is a truly great piece and works very well, but, as a heavier lad and aesthetically talking I really enjoy a double zip gilet.
You could say there were pockets there but they fell off in a crash?
Albion insulates gilet next week or abouts.
I feel like it's an upgrade service they could offer. I'd pay 40 quid for it. And it's good for eco credibility.
I like the idea, but expect it's more complex than it appears in terms of design, quality control, size and position of additions etc. Moreover, I can't think it would be that popular.
Thanks, I have a burner so will see what turns up
I have a burner which is great, not quite sure why I sold my insulated gilet a couple of years ago so would like one as well as the burner
Brevet one is just in - https://www.rapha.cc/gb/en/shop/mens-brevet-insulated-gilet/product/BIG07XXBCA
Cheers BM, managed to snag one!
hihi, im lookin for the black insulated jacket in size xxl. thanks
Showing XXL in-stock.
thanks im looking for the rcc version
Anyone got both Cargo winter tights and Pro team tights and care to share which they prefer?
I have the brevet tights and they're amazing. I think the leg pockets are really perfect in winter when you have a few top layers on and back pockets aren't so accessible. They're very warm though
I recently bought a fresh pair of PT tights, threw them in the machine for a first wash without even wearing them. Came out with an interlock stich, the one holding the chamois in place on the outside, completly loose. Unravelled about 40cm on the gentle wool cycle with just my other kit in the same load.
Would not buy again. Will return and buy Albion instead, winter drop supposed next week.
My cargo tights are a little smaller than I’d expected. They are great though, pockets handy I find on stops particularly somewhere to put glove hat etc. Warm and slight water repellent.
I’ve been having same thoughts though.
Warm is fine. I prefer thermal shorts and leg warmers for cool but not freezing days. Thanks for the feedback
@LeMesjeu sorry to hear that. Think you must have just been unlucky there. VFM not exactly a concern of mine in this situation although PT are slightly less and therefore has me thinking whether the pockets are worth the difference
Does anyone have any thoughts on the current pro team gloves (or any other options if they aren’t much use)?
