Are you in SE26? I've got a pair of used but with some life left on them corsas in black in 30c just sitting in the shed. Also a pair of open pave 25s which might be wider when on a rim.

• #10283
You're welcome to look at them, try them, and then say "fuck no" to them.
-
• #10284
Ah, cool. That would be great. I'm in SE15 but 26 isn't too far away. Am off to Prague tomorrow for a few days, but some time next week would be ace. Will PM.

are those open pave 25s new dibs if so panicy DM incoming
-
• #10286
Are open paves known to be difficult to get on? I needed a tyre jack
-
• #10287
Oh sorry you did say it's only on one tyre, that is really odd

My Gravelking SK's are a bit too tan wall and my Cinturato's a bit too slick. Any reason not to go (35c, tubed) G-one allround's for a relatively light, grippy, fast tyre? Full disclaimer these will go on a fixed build so may endure the occasional (edit - very feeble) skid.

corsas in black in 30c
Was actually gonna put a wanted add up for some of these. In SE26 so would be keen if they don't work out for those already in line.

I keep banging on about them but I like Terravail Ramparts a lot. Not sure about skidding them but they come in black and are grippy and quick. Eye watering at RRP though!
Edit: if you're curious, drop me a message and you can borrow a pair for a couple of weeks (either 32 or 38c).

Looking at some new gravel tyres and thinking I'm gonna settle on the Conti Terra Speeds (40mm as my frame tops at 43ish).
- Have a 5/5 rating from BicycleRollingResistance tests, which accounts for grip, puncture-protection too
- SwissSide tested and found it was a surprisingly 'aero' tyre despite being knobbly, even more so than e.g. the popular GravelKings.
- More personal, but I've had much better experience with puncture protection on Contis than any other tyres I've used (e.g. Vittoria and Schwalbe competitors).
- Perception - More generally, I find that Conti tyres review the best overall in actual tests for what they're designed to do.
And the bad:
- Price
- Always a tight fit and thus hard to install
Of course, the BRR and Swiss Side tests don't say much about real world-use, so anyone here used/owned these, before I hit the Buy button?

Thanks. That's what I'm deducing from comments over in the Gravel thread too.

Has anyone got a Pirelli Cinturato Gravel H 700x50 I could borrow for a test fit?
-
• #10296
Puncture protection, corsa speeds? Hell no.

• #10297
Continental Terra Speed gravel tyres, not Vittoria Corsa Speed.

• #10298
Look similar to the schwable g one bite

I've tested a pair of G-One Speeds and wasn't too pleased. Felt smooth and comfortable but the usual wear and cuts formed quickly, which I'm used to with Schwalbe's 'fast' rubber.

Fair. I've found them pretty burley for a fast tyre. Also might be cheaper than the conti

What's this "we" business?
there's no we here, there's just lots of differing opinions with a few constants:
conti are shit
gravelkings are shit unless they're not
vittoria terrano wets will do pretty much everything
