  • Chris Hoy is on my Bran Flakes at the moment. I figure if I eat enough of them I will become like him.

  • Good on him! Legend.

  • Fair dos he is a legend and deserves all the credit he gets...but its a shame the public dont get to see anything about the road racers...on TV bike racing=track racing

  • You do know that most of the major road races are on TV, right?

  • Yeah sure, I mean for joe public all BBC talk about is the track

  • I'd be even more impressed if he didnt accept it.

  • and loose a life times supply of Bran Flakes?

  • I'd be even more impressed if he didnt accept it.

    Why?

  • Not too bothered about the history of the British Empire and how it was achieved and all that stuff. Oh yeah, not a fan of the Royals either. But thats just me.
Good that he's been recognised for his hard work, however.

  • More love for Cav please. Whilst Chris is certainly deserving of the recognition he gets, I wish Mark got a little more love from the general public, he's a champion.

  • Hoy=Bran Flakes

    Cav= Frosties?

  • More love for Cav please. Whilst Chris is certainly deserving of the recognition he gets, I wish Mark got a little more love from the general public, he's a champion.

Hoy is Scotlands greatest Olympian and most successful Olympic male cyclist of all time, Cav has won the Worlds and some stages in major races. Big difference.

Hoy has basically pinnacled the sport whereas Cav has yet to take Green for example.

So, fuck Cav, this is about Hoy :P

  • er, and Milan-San Remo on his first attempt. Blimey, how quickly we take this stuff for granted.

  • Bran Flakes have 7g of sugar per serving!!! They are the devil!

  • [Bran Flakes have 7g of sugar per serving!!! They are the devil!]

Therefore Hoy is the Devil...or at least working for him part time

  • er, and Milan-San Remo on his first attempt. Blimey, how quickly we take this stuff for granted.

Yeah yeah and equalled Hoban's record for tour stages blah blah.. but this is about Hoy.
Cav hasn't done near what Hoy has.

  • I haven't done near what Cav has, nevermind Hoy.

  • Yet.. fruitbat.. yet...

    :)

  • First step: give up LFGSS. Do you think Hoy has time for internet? ;)

I haven't done near what Cav has, nevermind Hoy.

  • WTF?!

Hoy gets all his training tips from here..

Needs to finish a Grand Tour first, hopefully this TdeF and a Green Jersey. Then again Robert Millar got fuck all for KotM, but then cycling was lower profile in those days, and he'd probably have told 'em, where to stick their honours.

Cavendish finished the Giro last year.

  • so, most finish a giro quicker than that.

  • Cav hasn't done near what Hoy has

And Hoy hasn`t done near what Cav has.... dif type of racing all
