I can barely swallow as the sensation makes me cough/choke

Not had any of usual symptoms but was laid up yesterday with effects of ongoing allergic rash (Hives like), which may be hayfever related, eventually getting better of me despite best efforts to ignore it and get on with stuff. No symptoms so far today but every normal itch makes me wonder if its in the post. Not fun.

But on a positive note washing your face / facial hair and if you can hair / changing your t-shirt is an effective way of calming things down.

Proper rinse in the shower is better if you can
I haven't had it this bad in years.
The shit's unreal. -

Rode home from town last night and the air was thick of it. Started to get asthma symptoms, only had that a couple of times in my life before.

I went to the opticians yesterday and have been given special eyedrops as one of my eyes is damaged due to the constant pollen attack. My eye hasn't stopped streaming for days now and my throat feels like I've been swallowing glass.
On the plus side I passed some tree surgeons chopping down a plane tree this morning, only 99,999 of the fuckers left to go...

The horror.
Worst day i've ever experienced yesterday. Was out for a ride and didn't have any problems till i stopped, then instantly started sneezing. Several times in a row, short breakm blow my nose, then started straight up again. Rinsed the cafe of tissues. Was ok on the ride again, but just had to sit with a bog roll next to me all eve. I'd stopped taking pills as i thought i was through the season, buit evidently not. Picked up a spray this morning, thank funk for that. Has calmed me down. Eurgh.....

Suffering hard this year, can't take it!

I’m sure allergy sufferers will bear this hardship with their usual stoicism.

How has everyone's hay fever been this year? I ask because I haven't really had it so far and my dog allergy seems to be gone too... Hoping its for realz.

Very mild symptoms, so far. But I tend to peak around the second week of June.

I was doing OK this year but I've just woken up unable to breathe. Dfhhtfdsvnpjh.

Woke up this morning feel like I'd been injected with pollen while I slept

Mine's been almost non-existent this year, and usually I am a dribbling snot monster as soon as the weather brightens up.

My eyes went yesterday and again today, been on half dose spray for a few weeks as little n often seems to help nose.
Got a bite from a nasty fly earlier so first pill of the year as that itches like a nasty fly bite, plus side it made the eyes feel better.

My face has swollen up and I'm pretty sure I rode at least a mile blind today from sneezing so much. Screw you, nature.

AND I got bitten by a bastard fly who had the audacity to stay in my jersey for about 10 miles. As a vegetarian, I wholly enjoyed killing him when I got home.

Are you now vegetarian again?

I have to admit that I rather enjoyed it when I rode along the River Lea path east of Hackney Marsh on Saturday. The white pollen parcels (there must be a correct word for these) were coming down in such volumes that it looked as if it was snowing. While I don't have very strong hayfever symptoms (a bit of sneezing now and then, and slightly irritated eyes), I was glad I wore glasses.

No, I was lying for narrative impact. Clarification: as a pescetarian who hates fish but usually wouldn't harm a fly, I thoroughly enjoyed killing that one.

I can't tell if you're being clever...About a mile further South would have seen you naming the parcels correctly (they're seeds, rather than pollen, by the way).

Mine's really bad today. Two tablets down and nose full of spray, just about manage to not start rubbing my eyes and unleash a day of tears and itch
