I had one of those intense dreams that lasts ages, but occurred in the 15 minutes between my alarm going off, and then being woken up by Tynan.

There was polo - fuck, even I was having a go; and there was some tedious East Coast-West Coast type polo bullshit from some punk girl going on about 'Souths'. But that's not the point.

Towards the end of the dream, I was sat around a table with quite a few of the polo cronies, and a bloke that looked identical to my dad, but had a totally different voice - in the dream, I was sure he wasn't my dad. We were in a large cottage somewhere up North, and had just finished a meal.

Ray was hunched over an atlas like some kind of idiot savant, feverishly scanning the frontispiece on which was a relief map of the UK with very little detail.

He kept muttering "red du mal, red du mal, red du mal".

WTF does that mean? Is it 'bad blood' or something?

Anyway, the bloke who looked like my dad said that "red du mal" also sounded like the French pronunciation for "vegetable". Not very fucking helpful. Maybe it was my dad...

Off to work now.

I had a dream with foreign words in it, well one foreign word, and I woke up and it was all i could think about for days, i asked loadsa people what it meant and no one new so i googled it and it was hello in some south seas language, I can't even remeber the word now, but for days it was in my head. It meant hello, but you'd only say it to someone you hadn't seen for ages but used new quite well, like an old friend or lover.

If the first syllable is stressed, it means that. If the second syllable is stressed, it can mean something like 'why don't you do the talking?' (It's not a very idiomatic phrase.)
