  • Always worth checking out Blacks/Millets/Ultimate Outdoors. They are Exped stockists, and quite often you can get mental deals with their generic deal codes.
(-ultralight-air-pillow-15985275) for under £20. Though, the pictures are always of them full of air, which you shouldn't do for comfort.

  • I have one of these, its good

  • Awesome, thanks for the heads up

  • jan10 is the current code for Millets, not sure if it's obvious on the site.

  • Just spent a few weeks bicycle touring around Gran Canaria

Did you get the official permit for wild camping, did it take long to get it if so?
I was thinking about Canaria as an option for a one week trip but suspected the bureaucracy might take all of that and went to Valencia instead. Which was great.

  • We tried to get the passes, but they've suspended it for the time being due to covid. In practice though, we had zero issues camping either in designated spots (which are publicly funded and free to the user, and have drinking water etc) or in 'wild' spots.
    Valencia is also great!

  • Hey anyone tried the Naturehike Force UL2?

  • Ok thanks, indeed I've heard of others going without the pass with no problems too.

  • So the Phantom Phreak tent has arrived, and looks to be in decent shape. The tape on the seams is predictably buggered, however - what’s the forum approved seam sealant? Gear Aid and Stormsure seem to be the most widely available options.

  • Which ever is the pu one.

  • Cheers! On closer inspection the tent is less useable than it first appeared so won't be getting the sealant treatment after all - back to the seller it goes...
