I had a word with myself and realised that with everything else on my tdl, a diy handle made using hand tools was not a good use of my time.

So I got some old bar tape, string and electrical tape. Then folded the blade packet over and duct taped to make a protective cover.

I got this from ebay, so was limited in size choice. But longer would definitely be better. I'd say this, the 30cm, is really the min length. Otherwise why bother with a non-folding version?
