They look CNC'd to me but I'm no expert either...
Go for it, won't break the bank if it goes bad & you need to replace it.
This type of thing
It's not going to be used for any length of time, so I'm not concerned about hots spots
Certainly should help with grip, trypophobics beware though!
Secateurs - any recommendations? The Niwaki look decent, as do the Opinel, but I'm leaning towards Felco as they make such good cutting tools otherwise.
Felco for expensive, Bahco excellent for cheap, I use them continually as an alleged professional.
I have some fiskar ones, as they were what the DIY store had and came with a sharpening kit, oil and file.
Bahco tools are very nice and have a utility knife, which was a rebranded mora but cheaper.
Sound - figured for actual regular use the Felco would come out tops. The Japanese ones look great, but I wonder how good they'll feel in the hand when you're using them a lot.
Have found that if the knife is too nice I keep it for best and never use it.
But in these times maybe a decent fillet and boning knife is good as I noted what was left on the shelves. But as you say, not porn.
& day shop are doing the cut resistant gloves cheaper today https://www.7dayshop.com/products/jml-sharp-shield-protective-cut-resistant-kitchen-work-safety-gloves-level-5-one-size-a000061?utm_source=maillist&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=20200326

Fuck knows what I'm going to use them all for.
Was referring to the fallkeniven F1 teaser upthread.
Ah, gimme a mo!
I need to acquire buckles and studs in the same manner as folding knives... any good online shops?
It is a world apart from all my others...
You need the Nomad kit.
Serrated no 12, folding peeler, no 10 with corkscrew.
I really want that bread knife, but the rest of the kit is useless to me (I already have the corkscrew). Tempted to try a mod on a 10 or 12.
Pretty sure the only way to get the bread knife is by buying the kit!

I know, but I don't want the peeler or the chopping board or the corkscrew. I was thinking of buying a No. 12 and doing something like:
Opinel off then.
Edit : Am jealous of the mushroom knife, pruning knife and the survival knife
