I lust after one of these, but need to find one with a left handed handle.
Cheers will check them out online, and maybe head to Brixton TkMaxx!
Bread knives do my head in.
I have a nice(ish) Damascus one that Lakeland do. When I bought it, it was insanely sharp - I could cut 2mm thick melba toast with no issues.
But, how in the name of fiery fuck does one sharpen a bread knife? It is now no better than a bog standard and I have no idea of how to sharpen it up.
Is it serrated on both sides?
If the bevel is on one side you sharpen it with the other side flat on the stone.
I know it’s not porn-y but what’s the best price you can get a morakniv in London? I’ve got a friend who left his camping knife at home (in the US) and is about to cycle from London to Vienna.
