Spot on thank you, been doing a bit of digging this morning and that’s exactly what they are. Got lucky being around for spotting them as they weren’t around for longer than an hour or so and the rest of the sky was pretty unremarkable so wouldn’t have thought to go out and check out the sky.

The Cloud Appreciation Society are good for looking for that kind of stuff. If you do Twitter, then I'm sure they retweet those (@CloudAppSoc) as they are some of the best photos of lenticular clouds I've seen.
