  • By any chance does anyone have a 26.4 inline seatpost?

  • Few bits: Royal Nuevo (NJS), Campag, ITM, System Ex...

Few bits for sale, pics to follow tomorrow as I'm on infant duty tonight and unlikely to get a chance (and/or lazy)...

MKS Royal Nuevo + Clips (L) and BLB single straps
Posh beater condition as-is, but will easily clean up to 'posh-ish'. Priceless NJS stamps on both metal bits, cheap BLB stamp on the leather. I say priceless, in this instance we're looking at £75 for the lot.

Campagnolo Athena pedals with original cages and single straps
All original and lovely (if a little grubby) condition. Again, will clean up lovely, but I'm not using them, so I haven't bothered... Clips are adjustable and straps are original(!) too. Lovely things, which I think are worth 50 of somebody's pounds.

    System Ex track drops
Good condition, one side wrapped in cloth tape, the other isn't. If that's useful to know... £15.

    Titanium ITM stem
130mm - truly lovely thing. Mint condition and, accordingly, worth £20 IMO.

There's probably more I'm forgetting about as well, in which case I'll add it to the thread later!

Collection on Mill Road, or can potentially deliver, within reason.

Finally, thinking about parting with the lo pro. For sellz will be frame, forks and front + rear wheels. White Industries eccentric hub means you can fixie the shit out of the vertical dropouts and the front wheel will do plenty more miles before it needs replacing. I'll chuck in the tyres too - almost brand new Zaffiros with lots of tread.

WI hub alone is easily worth £100+ and the frame is a custom 653 fillet brazed masterpiece, so I'm thinking £400 for the lot (which I'd like to sell together) but we can discuss splitting, should you only want certain bits...

F&F measure up as 56c-c, 60 c-t, top tube 56 c-c (effective), but I'm 6 ft and they're a good fit for me. Probably equivalent to a 56-57cm, but you never can tell with a lo pro!

And now for the bad bits... I've ridden this bike HARD through two winters and the paint shows the usual chips and there are a couple of spots of rust to the chrome, but it polishes up VERY NICELY and the colour makes up for a lot when seen in the flesh. I can clean it up before sale, but it's currently my daily ride, so will need some notice in order to strip down for sale. The ST has been repaired at the seat clamp at some point, which isn't cosmetically great (rusty!) but it's structurally sound. See below for the obligatory picture.

  • Have now acquired a new bike and will be swapping around a few parts, therefore making this available (soon) as a FULL BIKE.

Price will go up somewhat, but probably up to £100 more, dependent on whether you want pedals or not.

I'll post some pics of the new incarnation ASAP, but drop me a PM if you're interested to discuss...

  • dibs saddle!!!

  • Full bike spec will look something like...

    Dave Lloyd custom 653 lo pro (56c-c, 60 c-t, top tube 56 c-c (effective))
    Tiagra front brake w/finger lever
    Essentially new 700 + 650c Vittoria Zaffiros
White Industries eccentric hub laced to Mavic CXP 33 rim
System Ex hub to Mavic 'something' 650c rim (24 spoke radness)
    New 106mm cartridge BB
    Sugino RD2 cranks w/46T chainring
16t sprocket and Dura Ace lockring
Campy record copy seat post OR generic black post
Flite Ti (one of two - both have years left in them, just depends which one I keep aesthetically!)
    Unknown headset - perfectly serviceable
    Bars will probably be risers
Pedals can either be Shimano SPDs, MKS Royal Nuevo (NJS) w/cages or Campy Athena w/original cages or NONE!

Will hopefull get a chance to build/dismantle/rebuild this weekend, so should be available some time next week.

Ideally want to avoid splitting at this stage, but give it a couple of weeks and we can talk!

Looking for about £500 with pedals, £475 with SPDs or £450 with neither.

  • Does anyone have a 110m - 120mm, 31.8 stem they wouldn't mind loaning me for a day? I'm thinking my current stem is a bit too short but I'm not 100% on which length I should be aiming for, don't want to spunk cash on something I won't end up using.

  • I do.

    PM Me

  • I need a rear brake calliper and a RH lever for a my SS beater. Anyone got anything to sell?

  • Don't suppose anyone has something with gears in about 54cm for a reasonable price, do they?

Looking for something for the wife and her current 56cm frame is a touch too big...

  • Does anyone have any beater wheels lying around?

Need to be Singlespeed or flip flop. Cheers

  • Try Here First
For Sale: Shimano 105 5600 10 speed Chainset
    53/39 chainrings, 175mm arm length

Very Very Good Condition, plenty of life in the rings, i'd be using these but 175 is too long for me. Please check out the pics and pm any questions.

Asking just £37.50 collected or drop off depending on location. Sold Elsewhere!

trades considered for good quality road saddle or seat post 27.2

  • Couple of things need to go;

San Marco Concor Light (Black w/Titanox rails) - £40
Used this for one 60 mile ride and prefer my other saddle so this is mint and comes with box if that's your thing. Good looking saddle and pretty light (208/16g quoted from wiggle)

    Nitto RB021's (Black, 38 Width, 26 Clamp) - £30
These are well used as you can see from the tatty (but functional) bar tape. There's a chip in the paint caused by a shim in the middle and possibly a scratch where the bars have caught a wall though as far as I can tell the tape protected them. If these are going on a Sunday best you may want to re-tape/plug them.

Too many birthdays in April and I'm feeling the pinch on my pocket. Need some cash for a trip next week. £32 on the Saddle, £25 on the bars and I've also got an iPhone 4 - 16gb in black for sale with charger (cable a bit grubby) for £100 In really good nick as well.

  • As a follow up to this: http://www.lfgss.com/thread123575.html

I have a free cycle of a few of the surviving bits: http://www.lfgss.com/thread125523.html

  • Alc - ygm

  • For some reason I seem to like collecting pursuit/bullhorn bars and currently have more than I have bikes, so I'd like to get rid of:

    • Profile T2 Wing bars, 42cm c-c, 31.8 clamp £15?
    • Deda CronoNero Low Rider bars, 44cm c-c, 31.8 clamp FOR GIANTS £12?
      -135mm 31.8 clamp stem of great generic-ness £free
-RH Shimano hooded brake lever £free

Also got one of [these] chain tensioners which someone is very welcome to for a fiver.

Photos of bars and chain tensioner thing:
    Ooo what nice bars #1
    Profile bars
    Low riders
    Chain tensioner
