Vallie street fixed hub

  • where in the UK can i acquire vallie components? i saw a picture of a vallie fixed hub on the bike porn thread, looked on their web site, emailed them and never received a reply. those hubs look really solid and easy to service. i want one for the fixy i'm about to build for myself, are they availible in the UK, if so where?

  • Can you link to the post in Bike Porn?

  • fixy's are so awesome

  • fixy's are so awesome

    I believe it's pronounced fixé.

  • i think they are only at stage two prototyping or something, might be a while yet.

think the new goldtecs will be out first. although i'mholding out for vallie, they look tough.

  • Why not be experimental and get a echo trials hub?

The splined system looks way better than a conventional threaded sprocket & lockring.

How awesome would it be to be able to use a normal spanner on your lockring and not be killing the notches with a slippery hook spanner?

Dont know how theyd work out, but id love someone to buy one and report back!

  • quick look at google

    126mm and 32h only

  • You can get 116mm, stick some washers on the ends or bend frame.

  • a fixed trials hub? what's going on there?

  • Fixed trials hubs been around donkeys years, they dont ride fixed though - they have the freewheel on the cranks! Im not entirely sure of the purpose.

  • ah right, thought it might be something like that, weird!
