I'm 6ft and I went for a large on the new geo, it's a bit more of a stretch than my usual 56cm Kepler but having now tried a medium, I think I went for the right size as I feel less cramped.
If you're 6'2" then I think you should be a large even with short legs. -

So to those with cargo experience - wip but does this look like death ? I’m thinking even if the suspension can handle it the front hub might not - never likely to load up with heavy stuff mind.

i wonder if you'd be better off with a frame mount rack such as the azor pickup? how much weight are you planning on carrying?

Will I be able to preorder an omnium mini max frameset using a C2W voucher, anywhere in London?

@dst2 if you are still considering Bullitt

Seabass quoted me 2300 for frameset 🤔. Was gunna check out paradise cycles using green commute initiative

Thanks. If I had 1 kid I think I'd get a bullitt. I'm enjoying riding one. But I didn't think about bike choice before I etc etc
-
• #6388
fair, even for 1 kid I think there are better cargo bikes out there.
-
• #6389
Well SBC said they can't get the omnium on pre order if using C2W as there's no margin on it and it's too costly for them. Which I understand but is a shame
-
• #6390
green commute initiative not work for you?
-
• #6391
Yeah I have that. I didn't mention it, maybe that would have made a difference. They didn't ask which scheme I was wanting to use
-
• #6392
Afaik green commute is better for everyone
-
• #6393
Yeah that's what I've learned and the one I will be using. Maybe I should have told them that
-
• #6394
Ah I seee, good luck anyway. I think Paradise cycles will accept gci if sbc don’t.
-
• #6395
C2w doesn't work for any cargo other than maybe ua or r+m (have way more margin than others), they take more than the margin is, excluding recent new costs, so you'd be selling a bike for negativity equity.
Gci is better, but still tricky, it can wokr if you get some accessories. Some shops could do omnium on a Gci voucher but depends on the shop! -

I don’t want to wait until July :(

Point taken.... it is only a prototype fitment, and as an ex firefighter, I’ve seen a few things stuck in a few places they shouldn’t be too!

Hopefully not a repost. A bit dark, someone riding their cargo bike across the Czech covid memorial

A pal in Copenhagen has just launched a product that turns your regular pushbike into an e-cargo bike. they've got a crowdfunder here – check it out!

Interesting take. Problems I see with it- front wheel motor (do not like), all the weight is in one place, and you can only carry 30kg.
