Def webbing, with some crates you can throw on when you need them
We've started shipping them today, shouldn't be too long to reach you.
My key is stuck in the abus frame lock that comes with my load 75.
The lock itself is also broken (waiting months on a replacement from r&m) but unsure how related to the lock being stuck that is.
Anyone managed to fix this?
Hello to all of u,
i am new in here and hope to be right in this thread.
so here is my tiny cargobike i build.
What fork is that?
it's the cheapest one i found. (https://www.cnc-bike.de/2024-aluminium-disc-gabel-schwarz-345mm-p-19832.html )
it was 39€ at the time.
i don't dare building forks by now :D
Cairo cargo bike
We had both batteries stolen from one of our Urban Arrows yesterday. Such a fucker! Any suggestions for improving security? The rider had left the bike for 2 minutes to use the toilet somewhere so whoever nicked them wasn't messing around for long. Great effort by the rider to get a loaded UA from Westminster to Canning Town with no electric assist!
have you considered putting the batteries in a lockable box in the cargo area? it's not too difficult to install the battery base elsewhere
That looks ideal actually. It would hopefully at least put off any opportunists! Thanks.
Another good suggestion. Cargo space is already very limited unfortunately. I think a solution that keeps the batteries away from the cargo area would be ideal if possible.
lol nice i bought the same to build a cycle truck with.
Employee of the month! 🥵
I am picking up my electrified Bullitt from Besbike either today or Friday. Should look the same as @Chalfie's. Excited, somewhat nervous.
I'm excited too!
Will yours also be covered in christmas tree lights?
No joking - it actually will. I have an LED strip I've been intending to attach for the Santa BMX ride out in December.
My GSD will
Come round if you want to test drive a bullitt.
It's great fun. Our main use is for child carrying.
I don't use it enough to justify on purely financial grounds. It's not replacing a car as we cycled anyway.
Don't really use it for shopping, panniers are handier and can take as much. Can take the odd big item though. I Will probably use it to pick up our Christmas tree.
Madjax box is great, can easily get two children in side by side. Or an adult - I've been in it for a ride round the block. Has a roof for winter.
I've had some on since Halloween.
If you're hoping it helps people stop for you in the dark, it doesn't.
It does make lots of people say "oh that's nice". Which is embarrassing for some of the cargo.
I didn't know you had one of those. Might take you up on a test ride.
You should hire it out to "people" that do a lot of regular large scale beer runs...
Finally Decather's cargo bike is available in the UK: https://www.decathlon.co.uk/p/electric-cargo-bike-rear-loading-longtail-r500/_/R-p-329177
It retails for €2800 in Europe. Fuck Brexit man.
Buy it in calais n ride it into the ferry
