Managed to pick up King Krule and Squarepusher tickets this morning...
Thanks! Looking forward to both.
Currently trying to persuade the wife to come to the Squarepusher... she's not keen!
Haha I saw Squarepusher tickets going up and heard the new track on 6Music. I like it, I don't think my wife would be so keen.
You're welcome to take my second ticket if you like...
Seated in the middle, front row.
Just has more of a listen, some stuff I still like. Some stuff takes me back to my Bang Face days.. Not sure how a whole gig would make me feel.
Up to you...
Wife will probably come along if not or i'll just sell the ticket closer to the time.
Well she might have a great time! I'll umm and ahh some more.
Hawkwind at Royal Albert Hall tonight we’re a joy as always. Such masterful theremin and keytar playing on show
Off to see these guys in Feb at the Underworld. Should be mind blowingly good.
Amyl and the Sniffers last night at The Garage in Glasgow. Amazing gig.
saw The Xcerts play their debut in full at Omeara last night, incredible evenig
Did they play any classics?
I saw them once at the Worthing Assembly Halls way back in 87 or 88 during Chronicles of the Black Sword era.
Guess it was during the Huw Lloyd Langton and Harvey Bainbridge days.
They've been my guilty pleasure ever since.
They've been class on all their UK dates.
I think they're still a lot of fun live but they need to up their songwriting game, lots of filler between the half dozen good tunes they've got... Tho' some people would say half a dozen good tunes is enough for any band...
I also wish they'd start playing Caltex Cowgirl again, such a great song...
Yeah they played a good mix of stuff, think 4 tracks from their new album and then a range of the older stuff. Played Silver Machine and a few other songs with Phil Campbell and Jah Wobble came out to sing on one song I think. They'd had Eric Clapton at the Guildford gig the night before too. One of my dad's favourite bands so seen them a few times and they're always fun. The lighting shows is still one of the most impressive I've seen across anything I've been to as well.
Anyone manage to get Faith No More tickets? Everything sells out so quickly these days.
Bring back queuing at venue box offices or Our Price record shops where you could actually buy a real ticket.
Or just see more obscure bands.
Yeah, I did. Mate has O2, so got them on presale.
Yup, I got two for the second date at Brixton yesterday via Ticketmaster, no problem. Pricey at just shy of £60 each, but I fucking love FNM so I’d pay pretty much anything.
Was at Mclusky last night in Camden.
Bit of a blast from the past with my old school mates.
Mclusky touring and I didn’t know? Howl.
That would probably also explain why there’s been no new FOTL stuff in a while.
Despite the venue, Underworld were as joyous and uplifting as ever last Saturday at Wembley, and the new tracks shone.
Aw, damn, I didn't know they were playing.
Got some tickets to Confidence Man next year. I only know one of their songs but they're quirky and I can have a good time at pretty much anything that's not a typical R&B/pop "club".
Any Guns & Roses fan club members on here? Can someone buy me two standing tickets for next year's London gig please?
