  • SOLD! Thanks...

Hand-built fillet brazed in Reynolds 853 by Argos, a fixed-gear TT lo-pro frameset in excellent condition.

Size: seat tube centre to top 46cm, top tube 52cm centre to centre, takes 700c rear and 650c front. Would work for someone up to 5'9" maybe 5'10" or smaller, depending on preferences and what you want to do with it - it's actually bar-spinnable with a 19mm tub up front!

1" steerer, comes with Dura Ace headset converted to Ahead, shim for standard 1-1/8" stem and a top cap included. English thread BB, standard track rear spacing (120mm). Beautiful polished stainless ends front and rear.

Looking for £190 frame, fork and headset. The buyer has first refusal on the Mike Burrows carbon aero seat pin (27.2mm) at £40, otherwise that will be for sale separately. Also choice of two Campag Shamal 650c tub wheels and a Corima Carbone 4-spoke 650c tub wheel, all with tubs fitted, again first refusal on any/all to buyer of frame at £80 each.

    I adore those argos forks

  • 46cm??? that is the smallest bike in the world! and i thought the Rustbucket was small!
sounds like a bike for Sano!....;)

  • Like your feet can touch the ground when you're on the rustbucket...

  • Bear in mind it's a lo-pro tho' - with the aero seat post in the pics the saddle height is at around 74cm from BB centre, it's not so much for midgets as people with flexible backs! Or risers...

    lugs are overrated.

  • BTW, the Corima Carbone is sold subject to collection - ta

  • This is a rarity - a bike being sold on the forum that I'd actually like to own, and would fit me pretty well.

Want, but don't need. Oh well, I'll have to find some solace in the fact it'll go to someone less worthy ;)

  • Arg!....want...but...no....monies...lame :(

  • Since when has lack of need ever been a valid excuse NOT to buy a bike ;-)

  • I'm not middle class, and I'm ethically opposed to credit :p

    And I'm staunchly utilitarian :)
