This is just an Australian sound byte - I've heard the term used in a radio interview before. I think they are just saying there is a balance between fun and competition, and that there are less jocks in polo.

Good section on the cycle show, well done to those involved. Probably best mainstream tv representation of the sport I have seen.

Just watched it and thought they did a pretty good job really, I'm glad they didn't use the old cliches: "new fixed craze sweeps urban cities" and it was good to see lots of guys and girls in equal measure.

The pads make us look mental and possibly scare off newer players, but ah well.

Thanks again to everyone that came along, it would of been pretty awkward if it was just Adam and I knocking a ball around. Andy gave up his morning and didn't get to play a game... so we definitely owe you some beers buddy.

They weren't allowed to promote anything unfortunately, but they linked to us from their Facebook/Twitter and I've added that the LO is this weekend.

It was a shorter piece than I expected, but it was still pretty neat and hopefully brings in some more interest in the sport.
