run something that gives you 69/70 gear inches.
shimano freewheel and generic sprocket are available from sjs cycles
I would run 1/8 chain to give you most options.

+1 on a gear ratio of between 66-70 GI
might be worth getting slightly longer cranks for a bit more leverage, the fillimore has a high bottom bracket so 165 or even 170 wont cause any issues for commuting.
i've got an as new 16t shimano freewheel you can have for £5

Currently building a lemond fillmore, and the most recent purchase being the wheels with Ambrosio track hubs. I want to run fixed one side and a single speed the other.
First what cogs and freewheel do i buy to fit the different sized threads on the hub?
Second, I am a complete newbie to fixed normally ride single speed mountain bike off road 34:18, what ratio is recommended for my commute, (not hilly, just gentle incline mostly flat) Have girly legs :)
Haven't purchased bottom bracket or crank set yet but I am hoping to buy 160mm length cranks maybe from SJS Cycles.
last what chain width 3/32" or 1/8?
thanks
