Oh no, poor thing :(
When we used to around the corner from a fried chicken place our greyhounds at the time would frequently be launching themselves at dropped bones on walks. I think I lost count of the number of times I had to prise open jaws and remove chicken bones from Caleb's throat - thankfully he had very good bite-inhibition!
He did manage to sneak some once or twice and the advice we were given if they have eaten something (non-poisonous) they shouldn't have was to feed them lots of overcooked rice, to basically pad them out to lessen the likelihood of any sharp shards of bone doing any damage...

Nice reminder, Pete. Cute kitty, too.
Buzz has had an eventful life for a guy who just turned one. Found as a stray in an undisclosed Southern State at 2 months. Likely Texas. Driven up to New York by a rescue named Muddy Paws. Adopted by a guy who left him in his crate all day. He didn't like it so the guy gave him back to Muddy Paws. He's then adopted by us on June 29th. He lived in New York with us from June till February but is now in Los Angeles with us at our new home. Suffice to say, he's settling into his new Californian life style juuuuust fine and is living his best life.
I harboured a lot of guilt keeping him in a New York apartment. We took him out often and he got to play with other dogs a lot, but he'd sit at the window yearning to be outdoors all the time. He has a very big, secure balcony now where he can bask in the sun's rays and we're just a few minutes from proper mountains for walks. He's half beagle so loves new smells and there are plenty up in the hills. Also near a great huge dog park. Five times the size of his dog park in New York and he absolutely loves it.

I think it’s time I got back to work. Friend in Sweden knitted a hat for our Otto. Been hours of fun with it sometimes being on his head. 🙂

Meet Fizzgig. He’s distracted again by the ghost that lives in our oven apparently.

He's going to be a meme or 750,000, isn't he?

Well 9 months on and Luna has grown a lot. We met up with her sister at the weekend. They are both huge and ridiculously docile.

Gorgeous girls. Good to see Rita keeping watch over them, no doubt with the wisdom and experience of age, so they don't get up to anything stupid. :)

The beach was a bit too sunny for Buzz today. I’ve tried to do this so many times so when I managed to do it AND get it on camera. Man. So stoked.

Just had 2 short days with parents doggo (Hobbes)
The house is going to feel so empty when I get back tonight.
He's such a good run buddy.
Apparently getting the snip this week. Bit worried he's gonna stop being such a total goofball.
