Same for me
Thanks I'll make some enquiries for selling my Santos this week with some local shops. I really should go to the Seiko site first when I'm looking but i often go WOS Brighton because it's local and watches of mayfair because they have the best prices.
Ooooo which one?!
Classic mid size steel and gold. Want some pics?
Yeah. Lets see this bad booi
Here it is. Original box and papers 4 spare links and service pouch chrono24 suggests £2834 but I'd do it for considerably less on here. The bottom pic is my watch
Not necessarily but you’d have to add VAT and import charges, and bear in mind that making a return would be a huge pain.
I assumed VAT + import but if there was a warranty issue would seiko uk not take it on?
Which model is it?
It's a 29mm galbee quartz not the automatic unfortunately and papers say 1998
29mm would be too small for me. Also not sure on quartz personally.
Sick. Love that @retro_bastard - good time to capitalise on Santos mania.
Cheers I should be able to sell it easy enough they're always sought after and i often see this model second hand in shop windows for close to £3.5 k and I'll probably take £2.5k plus of i px it against something new and more expensive at full rrp they often offer a little more for it.
Yeah the warranty is global, they’ll honour it, as long as you get the warranty card when you buy it.
Was more if the watch turns up not as described or something. C24 has an escrow system but it is definitely more hassle to sort a problem out than it would be from a UK seller.
Makes sense and i do always look for uk professional dealers listings where possible on C24 but could only find Japanese and USA sellers for this but this is within budget and a day out watch shopping in London is always nice.
Zenith ending the Defy Classic Collection by the end of this year.
I think that white one is the first GS which I like absolutely everything about.
“Not nearly enough Range Rovers on the roads“
Your right fortunately I’m picking another one up today. And this one matches the Patek in Plymouth blue. Unfortunately gonna have to sell the Humvee though.
That's a beautiful time piece, mate!
My beast. I do love a low key, good quality watch.
p.s. 5 years old and no service yet, losing couple minutes a week, lately..
Need a good watchmaker. Any recomendations in east/central London? Ta
Hopefully going to pick up a Cartier Solarbeat at the weekend!
Also nice 👍🏻
