^ For what its worth, I really like it. However, why not go with a different hand style to make it look a bit less Subby?
Because it's a homage. To about three different references at that.
Yeah that's why I love it - properly nutty. rated at 120m too which is well a bit odd. Not afraid of a lil bling
There’s been so much of that lately and the bb58 still does it best. Also a ceramic bezel is an odd choice for a retro watch.
I'm with you on that. An alu bezel would look much nicer.
Still, a 36mm dive watch in that style for time factors sort of money is not to be sniffed at. I'd buy one if it wasn't mercedes handed. Just have too many mercedes hour hands in my watch box.
Not really sold on that Smiths. It really reminds me of the Bremont s300 https://www.bremont.com/products/s300-br-black
Suspect it's cheaper though.
Eddie should sort out his shop and “opening hours”, so people can actually buy the watch whenever they want. Or maybe he’s adapted Rolex’s business model?
Ever wondered how waterproof your watch REALY is !? Well these Russians did a simple test, in the way that only the Russians seem to do :-)
Thanks, added to my subs list.
Can't fight the drop economy. That's where everything that isn't a basic consumer good is headed.
The Tourbillon Don
I disagree. To sort it out he'd have to hire staff and that's not what he wants to do. He sells as many watches as one man can sell (and pack and post).
If he opened his shop 24/7 he'd just end up working through waiting lists and disgruntled waiters so I can see why he doesn't want to do it.
Yeah, I know.
I agree to disagree with you 👍
I just wish he'd pick a better time than Sunday afternoon to open the shop.
It's almost like he doesn't care about the cobbled classics.
I haven’t heard of that watch but possibly this guy?
Such a relaxing film. https://youtu.be/DLMrSM7xK7M
Yeah that guy. Rough figure I saw online was £150k for his fanciest watches
Another olympics Omega
Suspiciously restrained, has the clasp got a massive olympic logo on or something? j/k, looks great.
The olympics ones are always a little bit dull .
We still have a Sochi Planet Ocean Olympics special , I can't give that away.
I had a peep for the same reason, case back has some stuff, but other than that, not a lot.
Also, do all the seamasters say [Zr02] below the hands?
(what is Zr02?)
Zirconium Oxide ceramic, it's what they use for the dials now.
Think it's the ceramic bezel dial material
