This just looks like a current Seiko 5 sports...
That font is special.
I think I need another 50 years to consider it...
Lol I was thinking the same thing
The numerals on the Vach are superb.
Really like this, would wear
This however is a bit more acceptable.
Is a misleading image.
The gunmetal hands / markers would have been much nicer.
Rolex did it too!
Long Live Seiko
Ha, for something so hideous I'd definitely choose the Seiko.
Don't forget the new face for the Datejust 36
Aw man, I mean, I don't like the watch overall but I do quite like that dial finish if it had a non fluted bezel and perhaps was on a strap.
Holy shit, that is an improvement on the DJ imo.
@Simpson absolutely fantastic that you have such special watches from your Father, with the additional bonus that they were BBC issued..
I have seen many stopwatches that were BBC issue, but not so many regular watches.. They are both stunning.
I would 100% get Simon Freese to service them, he will preserve the patina, whilst ensuring the movements are perfect.
Thanks for sharing
I think so too. The fluted bezel is growing on me too. I think that would look great on a leather strap.
Looks like those frankenwatches from India that appear on ebay for pennies.
the Tudor model came first right? Its also better executed (I own a seiko blue dial version)
use that face pattern except in one of their existing colours like the metalic royal blue for the 2020 OP and I'd be all over it.
They do it in blue, looks great!
You can configure either smooth or fluted bezel too and bracelet options. Great potential with the customisation.
Always look forward to your posts @JAHtim
That is a bit saucy.
Very cool indeed. Luck to get a pin badge these days!
True but like the symmetry and case on the Tudor and kind of gone off of the 4 o'clock crown position on the Seiko. Better bracelet etc but obviously killer value on the Seiko.
So, I’ve been busy. I’m down to 2 watches now, trying to find a daily. Looking at Sinn, but can’t find anything that I fancy a lot for less than £1.5-2k. The 656 is proving very hard to find in decent condition. I’m thinking about a Seiko SPB again.
I’m a bit fed up with flipping too... help
