Here’s a picture of a SPB143 that’s currently on eBay. The bezel looks all over the place! Also, the date - did it start changing already or is it way off too...
The date starts changing pretty early on the 4R & 6R, certainly before 11pm, not particularly unusual in that price bracket. The bezel looks ok on that example to me, the parallax error of it being higher than the dial makes these things nearly impossible to photograph with all the bezel markers aligned to the dial markers.
The ‘date not being aligned’ glitch is easily fixed, too.
I’m gonna get one and see for myself I guess.
Have we has the San Martin 62 mas yet? :^P
No, they are static, you would just use the minute hand to register dive time against the various scales.
Ha, sure, PM me and we can sort something if you are interested. They've been put up for silly money (£1600-1700!!) on eBay and C24 but I just want to get what I paid for it, so £950 + £205 import duty.
I sort of want to buy their copy of a CWC G10, for some reason G10's have doubled in price in the last 18 month
Quite liking the new Fortis Flieger range - everything but their logo -
Browsing through their collections there's quite a few good watches in the range.
Look what I've found. A Tag Heuer Carrera with... 300m of water resistance! I mean, it says so in the description!
I think yes. Well they share the same base movement.
Friday. What’s on the wrist gentlemen?
My best watch on today. I never thought I’d stop wearing my Thunderbird, I’d worn it pretty much most days for over twenty five years but it’s definitely been relegated.
I indulged my desire for order by making a thing.
I don’t think I could ever get tired of this.

Not quite the green I would like but it’s growing on me.

I’m sensing a theme, dibs blue.
