It’s quite Seiko but without the jazzy dials.
Found a speedy i like!
What ref is this? (bet i cant afford it, cause i really like it)
The bracelet in summer, sitting at home working, is just annoying me right now.
New arrival. I wanted a vintage piece for a while now and this popped up. @inchpincher kindly helped to make a decision. Thanks!
One picture on mine, one on girlfriends tiny wrist.
That is great
Needs a Tl;Dr on the dial
Ha! I do like the colour though.
Speaking of Tudor .......
Think I saw one of them in TK Maxx
Proof they don’t always get it right .
I’ve had that for ever .
Very good, this style of Seiko hour indices is just great.
Maybe I should start to look for one with them a bit more seriously.
Reminds me of Star Wars.
Yes, I think that too.
Here’s the link to the refurbishing if anyone fancy a read: https://adventuresinamateurwatchfettling.com/2019/04/13/10-beats-per-second-the-lord-marvel-5740-8000/
I believe cheapestnatostraps have something similar to the elastic straps.
They’re cheap and send out from sweden so no crazy charges. Prices on the site are without vat though.
If Vader had a Tudor...
Still don't think they get a lot right. They are getting better but stuff like the S&G 36, should have had a polished bezel like the SS version. If you're going gold you want a bit of bling pure and simple.
Don't get me started on the Hydronaut II. Not a fan of the glamour line or the Ranger either. The Ranger seconds hand is off, think the red needs to be richer, it's too soft. Would have been better at 38mm/39mm too as there's too much empty space in the centre.
I'll stop whining now.
Frankly amazed Rolex let them do that.
I’m actually kind of amazed. I wonder if it just doesn’t look vintage enough.
I have a feeling that I'd quite like that in person.
