Love this too...
Opinions on this:
Worth 300 gbp?
I’d say that’s reasonable, case is sharp, dial has some charm and for £300 it’s not gonna hurt too bad if it’s not what you wanted. There’s a load of Omega dial variations from this era, google the ref (135.003 -62) and you’ll see what others go for.
Edit: I reverse image searched your pics btw, I’m not an Omega savant!
CYMA WWW today
Nice that it's the original crystal though the Omega logo is a little wonky
If you like it, yes. Dial and movement seem ok. Check the movement serial number is correct for the watch. I’ve had a few of these, you might want to factor in a service
Thanks everyone going to look at it now.
Is the glass signed on the inside or outside on these
Beautiful, I'd wear that...
Thanks. Me too.
The strap is shit though, but that’s what it is.
Omega logo is etched on the inside of the crystal.
I’d want to get that second hand redone or replaced. There’s a lot of corrosion which will eventually come off and corrode the dial. It makes me think the dial is refinished but £300 is still good value even if so.
Also if I’m being difficult, the case back seal is in terrible condition yet the movement looks very clean. So perhaps the movement has been recently serviced, or perhaps the movement isn’t original to the watch. It dates from 1963 so it seems correct.
If you like the watch these aren’t deal breakers by the way. Just things to be aware of.
I thought that was only on modern Omega. I stand corrected!
New watch day, itch got scratched, Im away at the moment,gf sent a piccie,,lol
But what is it?!
Helson shark diver surely?
Yep, brass 42mm, I had to laugh at the pic gf sent
BB58 on a Fakerica
There is a guy on eBay selling his Seiko Monster collection at the moment. Some expensive stuff coming up.
Is she running away with it?
Haha, well she is not going swimming,”Its built like a tank and weighs a tonne” apparently
Thanks. It’s a pretty nice detail even if it’s on the wonk.
