The don't mind the logo on that but I agree that it doesn't sit right on some watches. The price is more than I thought though.
A couple of days late for the usual Friday post but next Friday is too far away. Finally got my grail watch. Absolutely in love with it. Thanks to a lot of the main posters on this thread for fielding my sometimes stupid questions.
Actually it doesn't bug me that much.i feels like they tried to copy a rolex crown from a distance... Quick glance rolex.
Nice one! That is a cracker.
@ricky2slicky congrats! Did you end up buying locally in the end?
Congrats - looks great.
Congrats, man! That’s awesome :)
Thanks! Yeah, I was keen to buy one in the UK but logistically it was going to take a bit of sorting and I just wanted to get something I could wear straight away. Didn't want it sitting at my parents house gathering dust. We have a Chronext office in Toronto so I ended up getting it through them.
Any suggestions for a cheapo digital that isn't the f-91w?
There was talk a few pages back about the Casio world timer being about £20 on Amazon.
Congrats. Great watch, I hope you enjoy it as much as I do mine. And stop looking at it! Lol
As per ^^ the AE-1200WH, thumbs up!
I got a W-800H which was £15
Jana wore the Omega that I had restored for her for the first time on Friday. Really pleased that I got it done. It belonged to her Mum who died about a year ago. Had been in storage for twenty years and flood damaged about five years ago. It was rusted on the inside and the dial finish had peeled off.
Fair play, that's awesome. Looks great.
Does it go on a NATO without adapter?
Only one layer of strap fits under the bar and I had to trim off a couple of mm, but it fits now.
Your wrist looks much more manly today. U bench bro?
Jokes aside, that looks great! And great heirloom too!
Priceless, good work.
@ricky2slicky congrats too, quality will be remembered long after the cost is forgotten, you won’t regret a Speedmaster.
That third one is a winner. Thanks!
Great. Hope it works out for you.
Looks fantastic, and big kudos to you for the effort / thought that went into it. Gestures like that help restore my faith in humanity.
