Aaaaand they ruin it
They just love doing that. Plus it’s a screw caseback so it won’t be the right way up like that.
Do want to try one on though.
If they didn't have that stupid hour hand, maybe.
Is a Mercedes badge any better? 😊
Pre-moon ‘68 Speedmaster with rare orange second hand on Antiques Roadshow. £30-40k.
Interesting thing on Antiques Roadshow tonight. 1968 Omega Speedmaster Ultraman - in original condition. Valued between £30000 and £40000.
It's traditional, and it doesn't look like someone tried to design a watch face in Minecraft.
Snapsies. Jinx. ROFL LOL
So I’m driving myself mad hunting for a Seiko SCVS013 Blue Spark. Not expensive but rare as feck.
Am I being an idiot and hunting for hen’s teeth or can anyone put me onto a source?
Jesus. Just Googled it. Save yourself the effort.
Was the owner aware of what it is and how rare they are?
I think he guessed it was worth more than the £45 he paid for it in Hong Kong but I don’t think he knew it was that rare. He looked surprised when Ultraman was mentioned. Lucky guy!
My dad sent me the clip on Whatsapp as I have no BBC... Here you go. Apologies for his shoddy camera work:
Same hands I have on my omega.. sure mine isn't worth 1/50th 😂
this was on antiques roadshow yesterday. original everything, estimated at £40k
Did anyone see Antiques Roadshow last night?
I've found what looks like an old speedmaster with an orange second hand in an elderly relative's house. Does anyone know what it might be worth?
I don't suppose you know what it's worth ..............?
about £45, no?
Easyjet limited edition??
Bit on the original here:
It is clearly the coolest Speedmaster ever made (orange hand, calibre 321, best bracelet design, dot over 90 etc), so it is annoying that it is also stupidly rare.
Anyone see the Ultraman Speedy on Antiques Roadshow?
