Yep. Definitely not all original imo
Black date wheel is also suspect. It does look sexy tho
This is what a good Seamaster 120m should look like. Totally different date wheel, bezel...
Wow, never seen that lumed seconds hand before, cracker.
With regards to these early Seamaster 120s there are a serious number of fakes, I would only buy one that had provenance and looked it’s age.
You sure the seconds hand wasn't replaced on that one? 😋
Given to me when I was 15.
I remember it was missing the bezel, and I am unsure about the second hand, it might have been replaced when I got that fixed.
I’ve just spent the last 30 mins looking for the Omega logo on the hesalite crystal on my Speedmaster. No joy with eyesight or using the cam on my phone. Luckily a loup was provided in the box and I was able to see it - when I tilted it the right way under a light. It’s alignment is to 5 o’clock which does not annoy me (and things like that do really annoy me) because no one will ever see it.
The joys of owning a watch!
😂 yeah there is an EoA which notes it i think
@TGR sunlight really helps
Innit. Guy at my office as Seamaster Apnea. I'm liek Sleep Apnea? 😊
Better eyesight would also be a bonus!
Hope she's treating you well buddy. I miss that watch. I've a few others and they're lovely but nothing matched the effortless elegance of the Speedy.
Any opinions on the Omega SM300 Master Co Ax? I love the look of it in pictures but I've never seen it on wrist.
Thanks. This pic better illustrates the state of the plexi.
Replace or leave?
Had it 6 weeks and love it.
Not been as taken by a new watch for ages ( and I obvs see loads )
Perfect and even though it’s already had a price increase it’s still a bargain .
Personally I’d replace, I’m a vintage guy but function is paramount. Plus you can get a crystal without the cyclops, yay!
Don’t wish to reignite that debate so I’ll just post this quietly.
Your second hand is a Speedy chrono hand but who cares, it’s honest and gets worn, very nice.
Open 6 and 9 date wheel gives me a chubby
Is that yours ? Baller
I wish, it was recently for sale on Omega Forums. £9.6k which was good value apparently if speculating on Rolex is your thing.
Just read about this on Hodinkee. Seems nice for the price (£159)
Thanks, I like it a lot. Wore it daily for a long time, it's in need of a service now.
I think the second hand suits it well.
Really nice, and I'm not usually a fan of those more new school Omegas. But the one I was thinking of was the one with the sandwich dial:
I seem to be obsessing about Seamasters. Tonight’s offering is rather nice.
Oh sorry you meant that seamaster 300 , rather than the 300 diver.
