  • Saw one of these in the flesh when I was on holiday in Bali - very nice. One I saw was a royal blue

  • Nice protoype...

  • Lovely! Exactly how a “new heritage” watch should be done.

  • I can't... the bezel is not aligned

  • Yup, that gives me a throb-on.

  • Finally!!

  • Cheers for the various suggestions.

I'd entirely forgotten about the Steinhart, even though I tried to buy one from someone on here (think I was too slow from what I remember). It's a definite possibility for the price.

Also liking the Archimede GMT, particularly given it's only 9.5mm thick and I don't have a pilot's watch.

Glycine Airman No. 1 at 36mm looks tempting, although maybe a little busy. There doesn't seem to be anywhere where you can buy it though.

I may just have to save up for this:

  • looove the over-brushed look

  • What do you reckon to the new Precista @rodabod?

COSC and has a NATO stock number.

I think its a strong watch for £245

  • Quite like the case shape of that. Also, the MKII Paradive Gen 3

  • Yay, Timefactors seem to be taking orders again!

  • Got a real lob on Panerai's at the moment, in particular this:

  • Very nice. That was the standard issue RN Diver's watch before CWC took over the contract.

  • Lovely update of the classic Royal Navy Sm300, right down to the large triangle at the top and the little luminova L at the bottom. If I ever had stupid money to spend on a vintage watch that'd be the one.

  • I took my ‘40s one into a few high street Omega certified places, and not one of them even took the back off it before quoting me £600 and 13 weeks to service it.
In the interests of balance, I found a place near my house called Allen and Wainwright - proper oldschool watch and clock repairers - who spent a good 20mins looking inside, said it just needed CLA’ing, and for under £200. They even said they’d replace the crown (which I supplied) for free. The high street ones refused to fit a crown unless they supplied it.

Admittedly, I’ve not got it back from them yet but I’m way more impressed with them than anyone else so far

It’s back, it’s fixed, I can actually hear an improvement. They said the barrel bridge needed replacing, so they did that and didn’t charge any extra. Then asked if I ever consider selling it in the future (nope) that he has a Lebanese collector lined up ready, haha

  • I badly want a Smiths Black Shadow or Everest, the aforementioned is in stock @ £445

  • lol that'll teach me to read two threads at once

  • I'm wearing mine (old, non-COSC) today; such a great watch. Like the new face as well, and excellent VFM as ever from Eddie (think I paid about £180 for mine a few years back).

  • Is that a pube just below the bottom of the bezel?

  • Watch pubez
    CSI enhance shows protective sticker

  • My SARB has been sat in Parcelforce customs "awaiting customs clearance" since Friday.

Have a horrible feeling I'm gonna end up paying well over what I could have spent from ordering from an EU eBay seller instead of rolling the dice on CW.

  • Prefer pube.

The most symmetrical pube ever lain.

  • Lol... Welcome friend.

  • Case shape and dial design of this reminds me of my unbranded mechanical watch I never managed to find much info about.
