Im actually being a facetious. Duvel is one of my favourite beers, and Jupiler is an absolute gem for a cheapie in Belgium.

In terms of ales, I have been trying Discovery recently and enjoying it - never liked them before, but I think they are an aquired taste. I find the bitters to be thoroughly shit.

I built up to bitters with the help of regular training at Goat Brewery before moving to this place and realising that cider over ice during winter isn't so good. Tim Taylor Landlord.. my gawd did we drink lots of that during my first year as a proper earner :)

worked up there for a while - very strange place indeed. lots of good wine up there but you'll never see a bottle with mildura on it (well i've only ever seen one) and 40% of our wine - and nearly all of it over here - comes from there. best wineries to visit as no one goes there so tastings are very generous indeed.

At least he actually did ratify Kyoto and apologise to the Aboriginal community. Something Howard didn't have the balls to do, and in my opinion both were seriously and embarrassingly overdue.

Howard was far more of an embarressment to Australia. Just watching him at major events he'd make me cringe, didn't know what to do with himself.

The best thing ever was howard trying to bowl to the soldiers when he was visiting Timor and the ball took its first bounce 3 feet up the pitch. Need to find that video.
