Nothing childish about riding up that tarmac climb!
Yea fair point, the tarmac will be a fond memory come the grassy slippery Escott climbing though :)
Tom Gloag and Isaac Mundy on the Senior men startlist for CP tomorrow :/
Both gridded at the back though.
Be surprised if Mundy isn't bumped up by the comms. Tommy G has no real cross experience and so may be happy just trying to work his way up. Alec won the last Palace CX from the back of the grid...
Mariokart-style racing is Alec's bread and butter.
Jesus wept the commentary on the World Cup is dreadful
The results of Mariokart/dulwich dickheads
Yeah, purple's never a great look.
(Hopefully you weren't hurt in any crash that caused that)
Eurgh wth, looks like someone stuck their pedal in the wheel
Very very repetitive.. The women race was great though!
What happened?! Name names!
What happens on the race course, stays on the race course.
If someone had a video from the front that wouldn't be the case ;-)
Hopefully there's no damage to the rim or yourself.
Will you be able to replace the spokes without removing the tub?
There was a bit of mariokarts in the old man's races too
I'm back up in the north west this week and thinking about racing at Towneley Park.
Has anyone got any experience of what it's like?
Rim looks ok thankfully but will need to take the tub off to fish out a nipple I think!

Did you go from Hasselt by public transport or car?
There's a bit more info on the UCI page now although I think it says public parking is a half hour walk away. Google maps doesn't have much info about public transport so I might just rent a car.
Taxi. Easy on the way out. We had to call around on the way back which was a bit shit. Not sure what the parking situation is but knowing the Belgians they have it sorted.
thanks. We're staying in Brussels and it looks like it's 4.5 hour buses instead of 1.5 hour trains on the day of the race so I'm going to have to rent a car.
Another warm weekend meant dropping my bottle halfway round yesterday's Western League rnd3 was a mistake.
Fast course. Surprised myself with 4th senior and not too far off the podium. Not bad for a gravel bike
I told myself that if I get to the point this year where I'm not just making up numbers, I will buy another proper cross bike for next year.
Got my eye on a new boone build.
