Icarus Frames

An Icarus popped up in the porn thread, and I just got sent a link to the website, thought I'd share....

The guy who does it, Boots, is a young fella who trained under Yamaguchi and is 6-7 commercial builds in. Based in Boston over the pond. Quality fella, really nicely brazed fully custom builds. The u shaped rear bridge on the blue bike is my dream, and the fillet braze to lug on the yellow is so kewl.

Just thought I'd share the goss on these lovesly frames and a builder to keep your eyes peeled for. The kids got style.

Me too.
Shame the waiting list is well over a year and they aren't remotely cheap. I pretty sure mates rates is just shy of $1000, or summit like that. I go to school with his best mate.

Its mega sweet that. Though I aint a fan of the tripple triangle...
All the really early ones have hand crafted, and unique, bronze head badges. The new ones have stainless I think, and they are all the same :(

Also, the white one behind it in photo one was made before it. But I think thats Boot's own bike, could be wrong on that though.

i dont mind i mean im 18, i want a really nice one off frame for when im around 22, so i got a couple years to jam

im a sucker for the split seat tube, but that mono seat stay needs to be thicker. im sure its a solid rod, but it just looks a bit wrong being that thin. also what the point in having a split seat tube if you arnt going to fit the wheel in there.

still a really nice bike, if it had drops with hoods+brakes id be all over it.

What are the risers on that blue bike, I wouldn't mind something with a lot of rise
