Will I'm pretty sure I had to speak to one of their operators. Try 150.

Thanks; just tried that. Got three beeps and a dead line. Perhaps they're having an early night?

Do it online?

I need to register a new debit card with Orange but when I call 450 there's no option to do so. Their web site is as much use as a chocolate fire guard. Any ideas?
Tried that, when I did call a number it was automated and they wanted a four digit security code; if I ever had one it's long gone.
why is life so bloody complicated? -

I've just got a new card.. I'll be killing a small minority group soon as all my bill payments fail..
Move to O2 :)

Google tells me you should call pay as you go registrations on 0800 079 0006, get a new security code and then do it through the 450 number. Probably won't work, mind.

Nope, didn't work but thanks anyway Tric.
and Hippy; I hope you've saved some money for batteries?

Fuck.
Camera batteries, nimh light batts, coffee, new gloves, new tyres..

Well; here's how you do it. Beyond belief but true; as you go through the automated menus just keep saying "Help me, Help me". Eventually the system gets frustrated and puts you through to an operator.

Whenever I get into one of those robot answering mazes I just start pressing #, like this:
####################################################
Normally it capitulates and lets me speak to a real person. I mean, I'd consider answering all the questions if the person you get through to eventually ever has any clue what you're calling about or who you are...

Hah - I've been meaning to sort this out since I changed my debit card almost two years ago! I still just top up at cashpoints, which is a nuisance.
