This has caused a thing to happen... see attached.

I don't believe a link is illegal, and I don't care about the consequences of being de-listed by Google.

This does show what happens when bots are allowed to read a forum though... which is a thing for me to bear in mind in future.

You could always stop Google indexing anything here. That'll learn 'em.

They were blocked until I lifted the blocks to allow archivers in.

But clearly some of other bots are doing the snitching.

Well, there won't be a forum to index soon so the problem will work itself out ;)

Unless you're saving it, then it's your problem :)

Sorry about that. Interesting how it happened so quickly on here after being opened back up to bots. The site I got it from would definitely bring in a no links policy if they were getting such notices and they are often crawled by the google bot.
