It'd be a brave man who rode tubs around London at the moment - the streets are covered with sharp, pointed, crap.

Tubular use tubular tyres (tubs/sew ups) not great for the road. You'd be better off with clincher rims, which the standard on one track are. Unless this is for the track, then tubs are good.

Ive got the On-one clinchers and they seem to be a decent set of wheels. They are sturdy and have put up with my city cycling so far.
The caveat to this is that I am a newbie too...

restock for prebuilt track wheels - approx 4 months - june(ish)
there will be handbuilt wheels as pairs only available in the next couple of weeks or so - onone track hubs in gold, silver or black, PX a57 rims. more info - spokes, lacing pattern, etc will be posted when i get it

Complete newbie to building fixed, but need some wheels for my lemond fillmore are these any good, and what's the difference between Planet X Model A tubular track wheels and the out of stock On-One 120mm spaced track wheels?
should i get these or look else where?
