The Double Life Of Véronique?

its a 1991 French-Polish film by Krzysztof Kieslowski ....

I just watched it and thought it was okay, seemed a little too contrived to me...like the connections just didnt materialize ...am I being too cynical? too pedantic? I just didnt feel the synergy that twins are suppose to share..

anyone seen it? your thoughts?

Nope but I want too, check out his Three Colours trilogy, really, really fantastic films, keep meaning to pick up Dekalog too.

Has anyone seen 'Beyond Rangoon'?

I remember when I was a kid I had it memorised as my favourite film for a couple of years.

That was mainly because my Dad grew up in Rangoon and I saw it in the West End and had ice-cream and everything.

Was it actually any good?
