It's snowing (Weather Conditions week commencing 2nd Feb 2009)

was going to ride in but rang up anf work has been canceled :) so off to play in the snow. People who rode in today be safe on the ride back its gonna be very icy.

If you're thinking about going out but not sure how much of a pussy you are, just get on your bike and try it. It's really,* really* good fun so long as you have waterproof shoes. I just did 8 miles and there is nothing like skidding in deep snow. And hardly any traffic...bliss.

Maybe it was the constant threat of slipping off and breaking my face that made it so much fun.

Yep Balaclava will really help your bike grip the road.

It does. It has stabilizers with tennis jacket feet! How sweet is that?

I made it into the office today, about 20% of folk have, the other 80% are laughing at us with the use of their blackberries from their bed's. Except my boss who phoned me up at 10.30am to tell me his legs were wet because he had just been out sledding....

I am sitting staring at the snow, but am going to cavendish cycles at lunch to final sort out whats left of my build so looking forward to that at least.

Brunel uni has been overrun by chavs throwing snowballs - seriously, police have been called and everything. Got threatened by a group of 10-year-olds while riding in with "GET A BIG ONE SHE'S ON A BIKE", who were greeted by "Fuck off you little shits" and surprisingly, they actually did. Needless to say, everything is cancelled, mass hysteria out (far) west, couple of face plants, lots of skidding about, a big fat A for actually turning up to uni. I love it! Let's hope for knee-deep!

My neighbour's fat dog is even out on a walk, leaving big trails in the snow where his belly is dragging. Just can't help but think the rest of the uk really needs to HTFU like him.

I think today might justify me getting a bike like this. Must have been a pleasure to ride this morning. My 700x20c tyres didn't quite stand up to the ice.

Valves on the top of the forks are for pressurizing the fuel to make it some out the base of the fork.

I was just chatting to Scott not Scot this morning about how nice it would be to have a pugsley to ride today.

just had a text off a mate, people snowboarding down primrose hill thats something i thought i would not see in london. lots of fun to be had :)
