  • Ha! Cheeky ;-)

  • Hmmm, it seems this cafe is in Bolton too;

Ey? So which one is the 'true' one then?

  • No idea. As Corny said, it's today's internet meme.

  • Potato scones, fae Bonnie Scotland:

I had those once in Edinburgh. I wondered what the fuck they were. Apart from just bloody wrong.

  • ...and taste like wet sawdust

  • Potato scones are quite amazing. They are the densest matter known to man. FACT.

    Good with fried mushrooms.

Potatosconium?!? Isn't that what Corny's bike's made of?

  • bringing this back from the dead, friend spoke to me about this yesterday, bit of an internet meme, but what the hey.
Think it would be worth a ride and then a mad dash there to eat, though I'm thinking sharing would be good, and possibly cheap as well, if they let you split it between three or four of you.

Mario's Cafe in Warren Street, London, do a big breakfast for £10.
Eat it all in 20 mins with no drink to wash it down with and you get it free.

It's 10 eggs, 10 bacon, 10 sausage, 10 toast, 5 black puddings, tomatoes, beans and mushrooms.
    No Chips

that's aweome. we should do that. get two and a bunch of us sit down.
@scott - wouldn't you eat the mushrooms too?

  • I think they use them on the space shuttle to prevent it burning up in re-entry

I thought you were Scottish? It's Tatty Sconn! ;)

  • @scott - wouldn't you eat the mushrooms too?

I'd eat it all...i was meaning there would only be one piece of toast left after Graham had....nevermind :)

  • Looks like a challenge.

  • It's on the first page of this thread but the AYCE breakfast at Maggies in Lewisham is probably do-able as a challenge. And in London.

    Maggies in Lewisham

Make Your Own (As much as you can eat)
Egg (scrambled/fried/poached), Sausage, Bacon, Mushrooms, Fried Slice, Black Pudding, Liver, Fried Onions, Chips, Beans, Bubble, Hash Browns, Tomatoes (tinned/grilled), Ham, Toast, Tea or Coffee

All the while being circled by waitresses constantly refilling your mug with the weakest milkiest coffee you can imagine.

Me, nope, I'm english. In exile, currently.

  • English? Supporting Celtic?? :-$

    http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=west+end+kitchen+london

good food, allday british, diff options for brit. breakfest when in before noon-ish and good other food things, Fricassee, fried fish stuff etc., not that cheap 4.50 to 7 bucks usually, but tasty.
