Cervelo Test penisalised for pushing.
Anyone has video?
I would expect Dr. Freud to have something to say about that.

-
• #431

Wow! That looks so good. I bet it would be amazing on imax.
I'll bet it get's a limited London release - I don't think we'll see it on the big screen here in the provinces! -

There'll probably be worthwhile footage in this, but the Gregorian chanting and that mythic pathos they always, without fail, apply to these things, is simply painful. And Phil Liggett, so, riders go across three mountains in a day, each of which is '20 miles high'? I think there is a lot of pointless exaggeration to sell these things. These are superb athletes at the top of their game and they can do a lot of things that non-athletes can't even dream about. They're also pushing each other very hard on the back of commercial sponsorship demands, and at the end of the day it's just a form of entertainment. Part of the myth of course derives from the perception that such hard efforts are virtuous, but to me it's largely excessive. I still enjoy watching it, sometimes, as I do like watching people ride bikes, and may well see this film, with the aforementioned caveats.

It was intentional. I am in the kind of IQ range that is easily amused by rude words.

Next track day definitely needs no-handed mexican-waving parade laps to cheesy Euro house moosick.

Yes I think dear Phil meant the mountain climbs are 20 miles long...

• #440
yes. that was fucking wicked, that was. one of the coolest sprints i've seen - coming from way back and sneaking through the tiniest gap at the edge, right on the line.

When I saw the head on camera angle it just looked like a whole load people had a good chance of taking it, but then you see it from above and it's an incredible sprint. The commentator said 'that's a mugging'!!
