Bartape installation for bullbars

Can any body point me in the right direction, looking for a guide on installing bar tape onto bull bars.
First time so any tips appreciated!

1 - start at the middle
2 - wrap in the direction so that pushing the top part of tape away from you tightens it (clockwise on right, anti on left.
3 - profit

start at the ends so that the overlap faces out/away from you

Sort of related, do most TT style brakes that have external cable routing?

Saw some Cane Creek levers being sold on Ebay that buyer had bought by mistake due internal cable routing on them but can't see references to cable routing when I look at adverts/online shops etc.

I think the high end levers have internal routing. But most others have external. Had this worry myself when buying mine (Tektro something). If they fit into the bar via an expander bolt then they should be external. i.e.

Not always I guess. I bought these and they have the expander bolt and are internally routed - the cable goes straight through the middle of the expander thingy.
