Londonfixiebike.co.uk sell 180mm axles for £8. Assuming that would fit?

Not sure if this is possible. If anyone knows if the axle in one of these can be replaced with a standard (longer) one that would make it much easier.

The londonfixiebike stuff is for cup and cone hubs so would not be suitable. I would suggest fitting something to the chain or seat stay with an M10 bolt. If it's just a screw you need to fit the hitch then it does not need to be the axle.

Are you sure? It is just a 180 length of M10 axle, the same as stated in the Suzue hub.
It is only for cup and cone if you screw a cup and cone on isn't it? -

As long as your nuts are the same thread then it would work. I though M10 was all the same and the link you have provided says the hubs have an M10 axle.

I am assuming "sealed bearings" means cartridge bearings so the axle is different similar to the one in this picture

When I say M10, I mean a standard M10 thread not like an axle which has a finer pitch on the thread.

Ah, see what you mean. Bad assumption on my part that the cartridge bearing type of hub just used a plain open ended M10 bolt.

Ok I'm gonna try dismantling the hub and take a look at the axle. The trailer attaches by a simple tube and lock mechanism which is held between the dropout/forkend and the track nut.
I went into Kiwi Cycles today and it was suggested that I get the frame rear spacing adjusted Sheldon style (i.e. with a wooden plank and a lot of leverage).

I have a Suzue rear hub with sealed bearings, 120mm spacing, like this one http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Suzue-Sealed-Rear-Hub-Black-Oldschool-BMX-NOS
It's on a new 126mm spaced frame (unlike my old 120mm)
I am going on a bike tour in the summer and will need to use a trailer which attaches to the rear axle, outside the frame, but the axle's now not wide enough. Can anyone suggest a way of solving this, be it replacing the axle or replacing the hub? If the hub needs replacing I'd need a freewheel hub, or flip/flop, and about a 175mm axle, or the ability to fit a 175mm axle.
