some full on track racing bikes being recommend here (planet x, cinelli, dolan etc) are you going to be racing the league at Newport or Calshot, clefty?
I run a brake.
It will need to take 25' tyresthat's the above out then, and quite a few others.
hey, how about a charge plug? I reckon that would be perfect. hoho, only joking!
that gorilla thing looks OK, as does the katana.
25c tyres are perfect for the winter.

The sword isn't that heavy - your riding fixed, momentum helps out anyway. I'd recommend it anyday.

@clefty
..and thought I would call on forum knowledge for a few ideas.
My budget is £500 max.
I run a brake.
It will need to be 58-60cm
It will need to take 25' tyres (thats how I roll baby!)
At the moment I'm looking at the Hattara frames from Gorilla, I like the modern style and geometry, because of the various components on my current plug, a classic lugged frame is gonna look a little silly, so I'm ruling out the more classic style frame builders.
For me, a BJ or mercian with a red spok on the front - just wont work!
Can any of you lot throw some modern track frame makes at me, because at the moment my only frame of reference is the hattara and geekhouse. (I would like to see the welds on a hattara close up if anyone has one)
ta!
