For an FD9000 please?
Has anyone got the new DA9100 mechanical?
Thinking about fitting just the front mech, because on-board cable tensioner
It's a bit of a fag, but not as bad as the rear.
As in it's a pain to get setup?
The only tutorial was on youtube with no sound, its kind of logical but all a bit over engineered and I'm undecided if its beneficial. Changes are slick though.
Ok good insights thanks.
I don't have much choice due to weird cable routing/outer required to put a barrel adjuster inline
can I replace shimano ultegra 6600 10-speed shifters (ugly) with shimano tiara 4700 10-speed shifters (not ugly)?
Need matching Tiagra 4700 derailleur.
What about replacing with the old 5700/6700 shifters?
maybe a @Howard question but whats the diff between these 2:
One is short and other is medium cage but both say largest cog capacity of 36t.
Basically I want to use it 1x with a 40t chainring.
The difference is the cage length which means the medium cage will take up more chain slack than the short. Useful if say you were running two chainrings up front or had rear suspension where the chain length required in a given combination changes as it goes through its travel.
The short will have enough chain capacity do 1X with 11-36 I believe.
Medium capacity is all you need to know, may work with a bigger sprocket if needed (like 11-42)
Ugly!? I'll have them off you if you don't like them. I'll cover P&P tho naturally :D
Have searched but didn't find a Sram etap discussion, surely there's been a thread?
I'm considering buying.
It's in the electronic shifting thread.
Ahh thanks. Sure I searched electronic shiftingz
Cheapest place for a full 105 Groupset? (for a friend)
Has it gone up it price? Remember it being cheaper.
Bloody foreigns, taking our money from us. We showed them.
Wiggle + 3% Quidco is cheaper than the Belgian online shops now
Perhaps with my CRC 10% discount code they are the best price then.
this is the sad truth, I've evolved since brexit .. just go a level down on groupset ;)
I just bought this GT.
I want to build up it up into a flat bar geared commuter/lock up bike. What is the cheapest way of doing this? (I know nothing of flat bars and associated groupsets)
8/9/10/11 speed, 2x or 1x, new or secondhand, I really don't care, as long as it's cheap, works, and gives me at least 8 gears.
Madison trade account says Sora flatbar G/S at £250. Are there cheaper options? Can't find much on ebay without dicking around with buying each part individually.
The cheapest approach will probably be buying used stuff from here or ebay. I once got a full Tiagra Set for 45. Probably search for some Tiagra stuff like deraileurs, brakes and Crankset here, and get the thumb shifters for it.
