  • wrong reply.

  • Anyone started a kickstarter to have a statue erected?

  • Anything else to do over the next two weeks? Killing time. Ah.

  • I am furloughed. Might take the kids out to Leyton cricket ground for a kickabout and maybe chuck a frisbee about

  • Been netting regularly at Hackney Marshes nets for a month now. Pretty easy to social distance though it can get busy after work hours. I've never been so ready and well practiced for a cricket season before. Shame there probably won't be one

  • Stokes to skipper vs Windies. With Root out, it sounds like a positive move. But it does rather heap all the responsibility on him!

  • does rather heap all the responsibility on him

He doesn't seem to have minded having it all so far...

  • This is very true.

  • Club cricket back from next weekend, thank God

  • Thousands of wives and girlfriends nationwide are silently cheering, despite having moaned in the past about us disappearing to play cricket.

  • Other than asking here, how do I find out the coverage (TV / radio / highlights) for Test Matches?

  • Sky for live TV. BBC have TMS (with in-play clips) and highlights.

  • I'd use a popular search engine on my phone or computer.

Sky / TMS / BBC2 to start with.

  • Hahahha. Very funny.

World Snooker have a page for each tournament, listing the broadcaster(s) in each territory. I was struggling to find something similar for cricket and have had to piece it together from individual news outlets and media companies.

Anyway, it seems that I can listen to ball by ball commentary on TMS? Whereas last year I had to use TalkSport radio, I think.

At the bottom of this article, in your defence, god knows why they have left it to the day to lay it out.

  • Home tests = TMS, Away tests = talksport now

  • We know it is time for the first Test when we check the forecast for Southampton (aqualung required).

  • ^ very, very, good.

  • fml

  • all the classics; shit english weather and top order collapse

  • Lol. Rain stops play at 1-1. The new normal seems much like the old normal.

  • Did Jimmy Anderson fail to buy Ben Stokes
a tray of flaming Sambuca chasers at 06.01,
through the Brexispoons App, on Saturday morning?

Duke ball, overcast sky, damp outfield, a fit Anderson.
Had we bowled surely the West Indies would be 19 for 6 by now?

  • Not picking Broad on this pitch with these conditions is mental.
Id have backed him to tear the Windies apart in one innings, him and Jimmie could have turned this side over without getting to the change. I reckon it could have been all 10 in about 9 overs.

  • top order looking wobbly
