Would be nice to see jimmy get bowled for 99 and England fail with half a session to go
Fuck this shit sport
May as well have an ODI tonker in as opener.
^ I think Denly tried that and we know the rest...
Seems we're getting the hang of this cricket lark,
we'll soon be past a hundred, (admittedly for 6).
Cannot see Broad & Anderson offering much support to Curran.
England should have at least 25 overs at the West Indies' openers tonight.
Phwwwoar that's a jaffa from Broad. He's bowled so well.
This pitch is ridiculous though. That was full and reared up
Fuck this dogshit team
What gets me is that a nation that doesn’t hugely value test cricket is able to dig in and get runs and England are tossing wickets away.
the west indies just showed us how to bat, theres loads of time and we just couldn't stick it. Pathetic.
That said Jason Holder is seriously impressive as is the rest of his team. despite us being the victims its great to see a Windies team playing so well again in Test cricket
Always hoped there'd be a sequel to Fire in Babylon. Damp Squib during Brexit doesn't have the same ring to it though.
We have loads of talent and absolutely no batting grit.
Can’t wait to hear what Jimmy says, or doesn’t say on the next Tailenders
Seems like these two have learned the ability to bat for time again
Buttler needs to be careful or he’ll be the next man shuffled into the number three slot, only to fail and get moved back.
Bringing Jennings back was an absolute joke. The guy needs time away from Test cricket.
If Root was coming in and getting runs at 4, things would look a bit rosier. But he’s on a real bad run.
I’m sure they’ll get it sorted by the Ashes 😂.
I forgot what it's like to see a) England play well b) a bowler with pace trample all over a team
Wood's shown in a day what he's both capable off and why they fear selecting him; get nervy when I see him fall over so often
Lovely ton from Rooty
Just another 32 runs, (and the not out), to get his Test average back to 50.
(And, to add to a theme,
Root has just got his Test, batting, average above his bowling average,
so he counts as another allrounder).
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Jimmy Jimmy
Staged photo of the year
When did he learn to play a (intermittently brutal) anchor innings?
When was he last 6th out?
England 362 for 5, in 48 overs?
God I love this ODI team
