Bloody love Chris Woakes
Robinson is so bloody good
Indian tail aiming for 200.
They let them do that and they deserve to lose.
Also, I had to refuse a ticket for tomorrow due to childcare responsibilities, so hope it rains anyway.
You'll enjoy a day child wrangling.
There will be more days at The Oval when he's at school/university.
Not a lot for 2 has been pretty much par for England though (normally 20-odd, admittedly…)
Root & Malan well placed to complete the century partnership well before lunch tomorrow.
I'm just pleased Joe is ready to drag us out of the mire again
Rattling along at 4 an over… not used to this.
Steady on, lads. This isn’t t20.
It was a cracker of a delivery though
Corking day of cricket, whichever way you look at it.
It was entertaining but too many batsmen failed to make it a good contest between bat and ball in my opinion.
On the county circuit, I’ve just been reading Matt Parkinson bowled 40 over unchanged for Lancs. Remarkable shift that, even for a spinner.
Well this is fine.
Rather need a Thakur right now.
He's next drop!
Also potentially a defining innings for Pope underway, would love to see him nail it here and really make a statement under pressure in a crucial match/innings situation and in bowler-friendly conditions...
I'm there tomorrow if anyone is about
India letting go of any pressure now, easy runs.
Bah. Had planned a gig Thursday night, Wide Awake festival today and the Oval tomorrow. A crash last Sunday and three broken ribs has put paid to the lot 😡
Sky’s lunch break viewing has been brilliant. Yesterday was an abridged version of a documentary of the Fletcher years. Today was part of a documentary by Mark Butcher about racism faced by non white players in England.
Huuuuge session this.
