  • Will Jacks teeing off as well right now, you love to see it

  • Could be shaping up for a good finish, CMB?

  • Cursed it. But not a bad bloke to come in...

  • It’s the Tom Curran show

  • I've just bought a ticket for day 4.

I'm refereeing in a snooker tournament in Sheffield this week and have found out, that contrary to my plans, I don't need to work Sunday.

What's half way between Sheffield and London?

    Edgbaston, obviously!

  • Just heard our tickets for the Ageas Test got shitcanned because of reduced numbers. Can't complain they're putting safety first, but a bit gutted. And they don't have a Test next year, so can only roll it forward to a 20/20.

  • Felt nice to do a shop for all the food in the cool bag for tomorrow. Cannot wait.

In other news, Mark Wood is bloody great

  • Yep, great stuff from Wood this morning

  • ^many; re 'no allrounders' comment.

    Apologies to Mark Wood.

  • Further apologies to Mark Wood for the jinxing properties of the above comment.

  • Still, he's put on 41 in a low scoring innings - great job!

  • Stuart '169' Broad

  • Eng: 303; 50/70 short?

  • Just me thinking of the popular musician? Mmmmmk.

  • Good stuff from Olive Lawrence tho.

  • Aye. Matched Burns.

Who imo must be the most unorthodox batsman I have ever seen...

    Prolly why he's there.

  • I mean, Shiv Chanderpaul will always be #1, then you've got George Bailey. Fawad Alam's is also weird

  • Conway seems to be the Kiwi Labuschagne. Are we ever going to get him out?

  • Clearly going to be the difference in this series.

  • Thank bloody fuck for that

  • This afternoon on TMS,
the masterful Jeremy Coney schooling the England slip cordon,
positioning, weight balance, hand placement before delivery.

I hope he remains on TMS for the NZ v India Test Match.

  • Was listening to the same. He is bloody excellent.

  • Stone looks to be competing with broad, for the bowler who has most dropped catches. It's incredible how many drops England have inflicted on broad, I bet his average would be better than Jimmys if the team could be trusted to catch.

  • Is this a batting failure or bowling success?

Either way, this isn't what's required at this stage of the game.
