Think I'm correct in assuming these are not the bikepacking version(?), worth flagging as the pack size is quite a bit larger.

I had a crap experience with SP a few weeks ago. I ordered a sleeping bag that they claimed was in stock but clearly wasn't. I chased them after a couple of weeks and they told me that it had been dispatched and was with the courier but that was clearly bollocks. They just cancelled the order a couple of weeks after that with no notification.
Not the end of the world and they do have some great deals. Just make sure you order with plenty of time so that you can sort something else out if the thing you bought doesn't turn up!

Ooof, half a size too small, best fitting shoes I've ever had and now discontinued in that fit 🥲

Damn, I wish I had not seen this... I am shopping instead of filling out my tax return. Also, green, my favourite

Only ridden in different Recons for as long as I can remember. If it helps, I'd say my feet are not narrow and lean towards wider fit.
Personally, these s works are better as road shoes for SPD riders. Found the grips on the bottom disintegrated quite quickly but maybe they've improved them on newer models. ymmv

@Chaley hahah well im glad i wasn’t the only one tempted
@spinnnout thank you for the info! and yeah i reckon I’d soon make them look a lot less pretty from pushing my gravel bike up stuff so maybe a good idea not to purchase

I snapped my Scott shoes last weekend…

I bought the Recon ADV a few weeks ago and sent them back as they weren't wide enough. I don't have crazy wide feet, but I want my toe-box to allow my toes to splay. And these didn't. Wider than a lot of shoes i've tried in the toe-box and very comfortable, but nowhere near as wide as Lake.

I've ridden them on a road bike for a couple of years. Can't compare to Lake but I have pretty narrow feet and they're just as narrow as my normal Sidis in the mid foot but quite a lot roomier in the toe box. I find them really comfy and they're super light (really noticeably so) compared to any other SPD shoe I've had.

I picked up my new shoes earlier and they fit brilliantly. 43/9 is my go to and these are spot on. Nice wide toe box with a rounded toe as you look down. Good find @Saffronspokes ta.
How big a box could Evans put them in!?!
